This winter is probably the hardest we have experienced in the UK for 20+ years. Apart from temperatures down to -10C, when it has been frost free there have been periods of prolonged torrential rain.
It would be useful to collect information on the names of pinks in members' gardens which have succumbed to the elements. Are some pinks tougher than others? Certainly, some of the old cultivars appear no worse for wear, but a few relatively new cultivars seem on their last legs.
Does anyone know if anyone in the USA has carried out a similar survey based on their hardiness zones?

Hi Steve,
I too am at a loss over my few Pinks called Bailey's Celebration from a well established nursery in my part of the world.
I have been in touch with the RHS and they tell me there is no such a plant under that name registered with them so do not know if it is an old variety or not but it is fairing a lot worse than my Doris Supreme.
So, I too would like to hear from our advisors as to what could be wrong.
