Hi
I am about to build a new structure for growing P'fs and I am thinking about a polytunnel. There have been a couple of posts quite a while ago and was wondering if there were any favourable results from those who have tried them.

I use a 14ft x 20ft tunnel for 150 pots and I get just as good results as I do in my greenhouse, you need maximum ventilation at the ends, Have a look at the photos on the PF living diary.

I have used a 10 x 30 airflow Poly-Tunnel for the past few years with excellent results for all Dianthus, the siting of the structure is most important with maxamum light and ventilation, hence the air flow Poly -Tunnel which allows air to circulate around all sides of the structure. |
